Where we are

The fastest way is the S.S 64. Starting from Casalecchio di Reno, towards Porretta Terme – Pistoia, you will pass the residents of Sasso Marconi, Marzabotto and Vergato. Passed the hamlet of La Carbona, before entering the tunnel you need to turn to the right for Riola di Vergato. And in the city centre, you need to cross the bridge towards Rocchetta Mattei, Ponte di Verzuno.

Passed the Castello of Rocchetta Mattei, you arrive at Ponte di Verzuno, cross the bridge (direction Camugnano) and pass the Alimentari Luana, take the second road on the left (there is a white sign wih written on B&B at 3,3 km).

Go over the residential area of Verzuno, and after the Church, which will be on the left, go towards Vigo.

A little after the Roncorozzo’s sign, you can see on the left the memorial of the Virgin Mary and further a white sign of the B&B. Go up on the left and you are here.

Take the Freeway A1. Take the Variante di Valico and exit at Badia. Follow the indications for Castiglione dei Pepoli, and after for Camugnano. Pass the village of Camugnano and after about 1.5 km, on the left you can find a a tower-house with the name of “Torre di Roda” and a little further on there is a road that climbs to the right. Go throught the woods. Go always straight (don’t turn on the right, but continue for Guerzano). At the junction follow the sign Verzuno and the B&B one. The B&B is on the right after 50 metres.

In case you don’t see the road which goes into the woods, proceed to the Carpineta and Ponte di Verzuno. In front of the Post Office (before the bridge) go up the road that goes to Vigo (not the one for La Scola). There is also a white sign for the B&B which is a 3.3 km.

Pass the village of Verzuno, then the Church that will remain on the left and continue to Vigo.

The B&B Antico Mulino is 6.5 Km from Riola. From Bologna, every hour a train leaves (towards Porretta Terme). The trip takes about 45 minutes and take place along the Valley of the river Reno. Outside the station of Riola there is a taxiservice; alternatively you can arrange with the owners of B&B for the trasportation service.
